Hi there!

 

My name is Gina Suarez. I’m a Pharmacist and a Health Coach. After a year of becoming a Pharmacist and working in a highly demanding and stressful job, I started developing food sensitivities that were making  me suffer from constant heartburn, acid reflux, headaches, bloating, nasal allergies, face rash, and weight gain. Along with the stress from work, I was also eating very poorly! 

 

I grew up eating a Standard American Diet (which acronym is curiously SAD) that consisted of highly processed foods, lots of sugar, unhealthy fats, and tons of fast food. I ate ZERO vegetables and ZERO fruits. The closest thing to a veggie I ate was a french fry from McDonald’s, and the closest thing to fruit was Welch’s Grape Juice. No joke. 

 

At 28, I was taking pills for so many things. I took TUMS and Ibuprofen like candy. One day I realized, I couldn’t keep going like that. If that was me at 28, what would my life look like at 38?

So I took action and changed my life towards one I felt healthy and in alignment with. I changed my white coat and closed shoes for skorts and bare feet. I became a Yacht Stewardess! Along with that adventure, I started my journey towards health and balance. I started changing my diet and studying the impact that food has on our physical, mental, and emotional health. I started researching the connection between body-mind-spirit and began implementing healthy habits that transformed my life. 

Eventually, I got certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and now help women manage their stress, eat healthier through a plant-based diet, and achieve a healthy balanced life where they feel fulfilled, energized, and happy.
